Main rules:
-1. The tournament will take place from July 5, 2023, to July 4, 2024. Tickets will be available for purchase on the ScoreFishing website.
-2. After purchasing a ticket, you will receive a code. You need to email us at rybakiyuk@gmail.com with your name, surname, email address, and phone number in the format +44XXXXXXXX. Once we receive your contact details, we will send you a participant card with your unique number by mail.
-3. To participate in the tournament, you need to download the ScoreFishing app on your phone. You will be sent a USER GUIDE to the ScoreFishing app.
-4. To fish in different bodies of water, you must have a general Environment Agency (EA) license. For salmon (or sea trout) fishing, you need a separate license for salmon (or sea trout) fishing. All licenses and fishing permits are purchased individually by each participant and are not included in the ticket price.
-5. Pike, perch, sea bass, zander, trout, and salmon (or sea trout) can be caught by any legal method. Spinning is preferred, but pike can also be caught using dead bait.
-6. All caught fish must be photographed on the LEFT HAND side, using a measuring board with a reference point (wide rulers measuring 13 cm in width, such as Savage Gear, Westin, etc.). If you need a link to a website where you can purchase one, please contact us via email at rybakiyuk@gmail.com.
-7. The measurement of fish should be from the tip of the nose to the end of the tail fin. The photo must be taken through the ScoreFishing app. Other photographs will not be accepted for recording the result.
-8. The ticket price includes the recording of the sizes of the caught fish (6 in total). You will have 18 attempts to update the result if you catch a larger fish of a particular species. For example, if you have caught all 6 fish (perch, pike, zander, trout, sea bass, salmon (or sea trout)) and recorded them in the app, you can update the results for each fish. This is included in the ticket price. If you want to update the results of your fishing beyond the 18 times, updating the result for each fish individually will cost £2.50 per record. The number of updates within the year is not limited, but you will have to pay separately for these changes in ScoreFishing.
-9. How will the results be calculated? We will sum up the lengths of all 6 fish (for each species). The greatest total length of all 6 fish will determine the winners. Therefore, the numbers in centimeters will be added: perch - XXcm + pike - XXcm + zander - XXcm + trout - XXcm + sea bass - XXcm + salmon (or sea trout) - XXcm = total length in cm. The longest fish of each species caught by you will be selected. There is no point in recording, for example, 100 perch to increase the total length in cm. Only 1 perch, 1 pike, 1 zander, 1 trout, 1 sea bass, and 1 salmon (or sea trout) will be counted. A total of 6 species of fish.
-10. At the end of the competition on July 4, 2024, we will have a list of winners in each category:
- Best 6 Species (3 winners) Note: if less than 6 species, the total length
- Largest perch (3 winners)
- Largest pike (3 winners)
- Largest zander (3 winners)
- Largest trout (3 winners)
- Largest sea bass (3 winners)
- Largest salmon (or sea trout) (3 winners)
-11. All participants in this competition must follow the rules of fishing in rivers, canals, lakes, seas, etc.
-12. This competition is catch and release only, except for paid lakes where we catch trout.
-13. Participants in this competition must follow the rules of fishing in rivers, canals, lakes, seas, etc.
-14. This competition is catch and release only, except for paid lakes where we catch trout.
-15. Fishing will be counted only within the territory of England, Wales, and Scotland. In the app, there is a map where your results will be recorded. If you attempt to catch fish in another country and submit it as a result, it will be immediately detected, and the app will not record your result.
-16. We are not responsible if your phone runs out of battery during fishing, if you accidentally drop it in water, or if any other incidents occur.
-17. All participants are voluntarily taking part in the competition. Currently, we have only 100 tickets available. If there is more demand, more tickets will be made available.
-18. Our goal is not to catch all 6 species of fish. You can catch 3-4 species of fish, but if they are of large size, you will have a chance to win.
-19. Fishing is allowed from the shore, in waders, from a boat, or from a yacht. When venturing into open sea, there is a restriction of 10 miles from the coast. Please take this factor into account.
