The GP Coarse 2022 is a series of fishing competitions which aims to select the best coarse angler in the Polish Anglers Association Club (PAA).
The matches will take place at various locations across the UK commencing with a match at Decoy Lakes on 14th May and culminating at Lindholme Lakes in Yorkshire on 24th September 2022.
The winner of our GP will be the angler with the highest score according to the total points accrued across all the individual competitions.
Participants who enter the competitions and are members of the Polish Anglers Association can accure points to count towards the general score but our competitions are open to all anglers who enjoy the sport with a chance to win cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place as well as for the winning of Sectors.
Grand Prix ranking system: - First place high, per match points allocation with 20 placements. - Points are allocated for the whole match. - Awarded placement: +20 points for 1st; +19 points for 2nd; +18 points for 3rd; +17 points for 4th; +16 points for 5th; +15 points for 6th; +14 points for 7th; +13 points for 8th; +12 points for 9th; +11 points for 10th; +10 points for 11th; +9 points for 12th; +8 points for 13th; +7 points for 14th; +6 points for 15th; +5 points for 16th; +4 points for 17th; +3 points for 18th; +2 points for 19th; +1 point for 20th and 0 points for all unplaced positions: did not weight placement = threshold points. - 1 point is added for attending a match. - Points equal to the unplaced threshold points are deducted for leaving before the match ends. - 0 points are given for a DNS (not attending a match). - 0 points are given for a DBS (not booking a match). - Points are excluded for 1 worst GP session. - If an angler is disqualified from a match then 0 points are deducted.
The last competition of the GP series is considered as a final of the GP Coarse 2022. Members of the PAA club from the top twenty of the general classification will have a priority of purchasing tickets. Prizes are subject to all tickets being sold.
